Is the mattress firm enough for a newborn?
Yes. This mattress is specifically designed to provide firm support, as recommended by pediatricians and infant health specialists. A firm surface helps reduce sleep-related risks and supports safe sleep.
Is the baby mattress reversible?
No. Our mattress is designed to provide firm support, suitable for your baby from birth until they are ready to move to a toddler bed or child’s bed.
Does the mattress contain any chemicals or flame retardants?
No. This mattress contains no flame retardants, polyurethane foam, industrial glues or chemical treatments. It is made entirely from GOTS and GOLS certified organic materials that are safe for babies.
Is the mattress protector included?
Yes. A GOTS-certified organic wool moisture protector is included with your purchase. It is naturally water-repellent, removable and easy to spot clean.
Does my baby mattress release chemicals (off-gassing) and should I air it out before using it in my child's room?
No. There is no chemical off-gassing. You can place the mattress in your baby's room as soon as you receive it, no airing out is necessary.
How long does the mattress last?
This mattress is covered by a 10-year limited warranty. It is designed to last throughout the crib stage with outstanding durability and support.
