It all started with the belief that a good night’s sleep can change everything. Growing up, Jean Corriveau learned the importance of a quality bed while spending his teenage summers working at a mattress company. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong pursuit of better sleep and the drive to one day build something of his own.
Since founding Obasan in 1985, Jean has travelled the world in search of the finest natural materials, returning year after year to ensure every mattress meets uncompromised standards. His philosophy remains simple and unwavering: when you sleep well, you live well.
