Essential Organic Mattress Assembly Instructions

Before You Begin:
- For Queen, King, and Cal. King sizes, you will have 2 separate latex pieces per layer (4 in total).
- For Twin, Twin XL, and Double sizes, there is 1 piece per layer (2 in total).
- Each latex layer has a fabric cover with the firmness labeled directly on it for easy identification.
Step-by-Step Assembly
- Lay the mattress cover on your foundation or solid slatted base.
- Ensure that the open end of the cover is positioned at the head of the bed.
- The canvas diamond-patterned fabric should face downward (this is the bottom).
- The Obasan logo should be visible on the left side at the foot of the bed. - Pull the corners of the cover down tightly over your foundation or base. If you’re using a slatted base, make sure the cover is evenly stretched out and ready to receive the latex layers.
- Identify the 4” firm base layer (the firmness is written directly on the fabric cover).
- Place the firm base layer inside the mattress cover, ensuring it fits snugly into each corner.
- For larger sizes (Queen, King, Cal. King), place one piece on each side. - Next, locate the 4” medium firmness core layer (labeled on the fabric).
- Place this layer directly on top of the firm base layer, carefully aligning the corners and edges.
- Again, for larger sizes, install each side separately according to the firmness labels. - Once both layers are placed and aligned, pull the side panels of the mattress cover up and over the latex layers.
- Ensure all layers are squared inside the cover, fitting tightly into each corner.
- Finally, pull the top panel of the cover over the mattress and begin zipping it closed.
- Zip around the bed slowly, pulling the cover downward slightly as you zip to avoid stressing the zipper.
Tip:
If needed, adjust the layers as you go to keep everything aligned and squared inside the cover.
